Welcome to
Small and Tall Dog Training
with Lisa Arant

Whether puppy training, walking nicely on leash, or preparing for the Canine Good Citizen test, I offer expert, compassionate, dog-friendly positive reinforcement dog training and behavior consulting in the Montgomery and southern Frederick counties of Maryland. With a special love of small dogs, I understand their unique perspective on the world and modify the training to match.

Relax, have fun, and be amazed by how smart
your dog really is!

Have a great day!

"...I say aloud 'Thank you God for one more day with my companions.' ... Companions are those you share food with, and this sharing of food, along with other satisfiers (i.e. reinforcers), in a generous and thoughtful way--this feeding--builds an enduring bond of trust and a pervasive spirit of cooperation"

--Kathy Sdao, Plenty In Life Is Free

"Empower more and impose less.  Give your animal the power to say no."  --Susan Friedman (heard by a fellow trainer at the Clicker Expo 2013)

"We try to be the best dog parents we can be because we owe them so much for how they have enriched our lives so far." -- Christina W. (student)
